Тема: My sports

Мета:

• повторити й активізувати лексику теми;

• продовжувати формувати навички говоріння, монологічного та діалогічного мовлення;

• продовжувати формувати навички аудіювання;

• активізувати граматичні навички;

• виховувати зацікавленість до різних видів спорту.

Обладнання: підручник, робочий зошит, картки для самостійної роботи, магнітофон.

Тип уроку: урок систематизації та узагальнення вивченого матеріалу.

Хід уроку

І. Підготовка до сприйняття іншомовного мовлення.

Greeting: 1. Привітання. Організаційний момент.

Aim : 2. Повідомлення теми і мети уроку.

T. Today we will continue learning topic «Sport», you`II also practice your spoken English and grammar skills.

Warming – up:

3. Уведення в іншомовну атмосферу. Розподіл класу на три групи, кожна з яких складає список видів спорту. Перша група пригадує зимові види спорту, друга - літні, третя – види спорту, якими можна займатися весь рік. Час роботи обмежений – 1-2 хвилини. По закінченні роботи представники кожної групи читають складені списки, учитель та решта учнів класу коригують та доповнюють відповіді.

 

ІІ. Основна частина уроку.

Check on homework: 1. Перевірка домашнього завдання(answer the questions quickly «Are you a good sportsman? », interview your classmate).

Speaking: 2. Work in a group and prepare a presentation of any sport.

Think of some questions.

a) Is it a team or an individual sport?

в) Which things do you need ?

c) Why do you like it? What`s it like?

Listening: 1. Listen to the radio show where listeners are trying to guess the sport. Choose the correct box.

2. Listen again and put the questions in the order you hear them.

* Is it a dangerous sport?

* Does he need a racket?

* Does he need any other equipment?

* Does your guest play an indoor sport?

* Does your guest play an individual sport?

* What sport does he play?

A relax moment: 1. Listen and sing, and move.

One, and two and three and four,

Bend your knees and touch the floor.

Five, and six and seven and eight,

Stretch your arms and jump up straight.

One, and two and three and four,

Don`t be lazy, work out more.

Five, and six and seven and eight,

Working out is really great.

Grammar: 1. Complete the description of table tennis. Use the correct form of «have to», «don’t have to», «can» or «can`t».

You____use a bat. You____hold it in your right or left hand. When you serve, the ball____ go over the net – it ____touch the net.You ____score 21 points to win a set. Usually you____ wear special clothes but in tournaments, players____wear shorts or short skirts and T-shirts.

2. Fill in the sentences with the linking words `and`, `but` or `because`.

А) She plays tennis … she isn`t very good at it.

В) Dora likes swimming … I don`t.

С) I play basketball with my friends … tennis with my dad.

D) I like winning … I sometimes lose, too.

E) I think doing sports is good for me … I sit all day.

F) I don`t like watching football … it is boring.

Play a guessing game: some pupils show actions and another pupils have to guess what kind of sport is this.

III. Заключний етап уроку.

Homework: 1. Домашнє завдання.

For the next time your task will be exercise 8, p.35 in the workbook (complete the sentences with the missing words.); exercise 10, p.36 (write the descriptions of sports).

Summering: 2. Підведення підсумків уроку.
